LAS VEGAS –Do you worry that your phone might accidentally end up in the toilet? A wearable watch phone with a price of $399 launched by a security product developer may help you out.
Targeting the security conscious end of the consumer market for wearable tech, the GoldKey Secure Communicator includes encryption features offered by security firm Goldkey, including secure VoIP calls.
“The target consumers are the people who work with security consciousness, who want to have secure conversations, such as businessmen and celerities,”said Joseph Billings, the vice president of Goldkey.
The watch runs on a version of the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Users can download apps from the Google Play Store and browse the web via an included web browser. The GoldKey Secure Communicator sports a 5 megapixel camera, a 1.54-inch, 240 x 240 display, and a 1.2-GHz dual core ARM CPU.
