Video: “Historic” Storm Clears Roads
Paul Dudley and Keiko Talley report.
Stay off the road.
That’s the message echoing throughout Massachusetts and the Northeast. A statewide travel band has been declared by Governor Charlie Baker as the Bay State prepares for what is expected to be a “historic” blizzard.
Residents flooded into grocery markets emptying shelves in preparation for the storm.
“I think if you treat it the right way there is really nothing to be worried about,” said one local shopper.
Baker has declared a state of emergency. MBTA service has been suspended until Wednesday. Logan airport also shutdown service, canceling more than 6,000 flights. Continue to follow the BU News Service for updates.
